He is survived by: his wife Delma; his grandchildren, Ricardo Gomez Jr. (Michelle), Alexandra Ruiz (Francisco), Jerek Silvas, Justin Silvas, Jenica Silvas, Aiden Valenzuela, Christian Valenzuela, Ryan Rodriguez (Lauren), Danielle Rodriguez and Richard Rodriguez Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Jaylen, Kayleigh, Emily and Melanie Gomez.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Peaceful Garden Funeral Home (116 W 4th St, Pecos, TX 79772). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Evergreen Cemetery (63 Co Rd 203, Pecos, TX 79772). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church (620 E 4th St, Pecos, TX 79772).
