He was predeceased by: his mother Alicia Chavez Munoz; and his siblings-in-law, Rojelio Garcia, Maria De Jesus Quezada and Maria Garcia. He is survived by: his wife Socorro Munoz; his daughters, Nataly Munoz, Josie "Cody" Nelson and Sarai "Osvaldo" Recendis (Jorge F. "Crystal" Munoz Jr.); and his brother Ruben Munoz (Claudia Bustamantez).
