He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Williams and Lillian Williams. He is survived by: his wife Laverne Williams; his children, Lori Mathis (Claude) and Lawrence Jr. (Karla); his uncle Curtis Johnson; his siblings, Frank, Janice and Kenneth Williams (Wilma); his sister-in-law Jewel Gransberry (Governor); and his grandchildren, Champ, Caimon, Crimson Mathis, Jailene and Jacinda Williams. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
