With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ramon C. Garcia of Pecos, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his father Jesus Garcia (Sixta Carrasco); his son Raul Jesus Garcia; his parent Sixta Garcia; his siblings, Jesus Garcia, Manuel Garcia, Hilario Garcia, Jose Garcia, Anastacia Mendoza, Consuelo Ortega, Maria Barragan and Paula Salazar; and his son-in-law Michael L. Schulze.
He is survived by: his wife Elfida Rodriguez Garcia of Odessa; his children, Alma Garcia of Odessa, Lisa Schulze of San Angelo, George Garcia of San Antonio, Omar Garcia, Rene Garcia and Danny Garcia of Odessa; his sister Esperanza Garcia Tarango of Grand Prairie; and his caregiver Cristina Carrasco. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Pecos Funeral Home (607 W 3rd St, Pecos, TX 79772). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Greenwood Cemetery (1910 Wyoming St, Pecos, TX 79772).
