He was predeceased by: his parents, Marin Salinas and Manuela Villanueva; his siblings, Santiago Salinas, Carlos Salinas and Josefa Canales; his daughter Gloria Salinas Mendiola; his son-in-law Raul Mendiola Jr.; his son Armando Salinas; and his grandson Raul Mendiola III.
He is survived by: his wife Criselda Salinas; his children, Ruben Salinas (Ashley), Jaime Salinas Sr. (Stella), Rene Salinas (Amanda) and Krystal Salinas; and his siblings, Maria Garcia, Manuel Salinas, Jose Salinas, Francisca Ochoa and Juan Salinas. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lord and I Funeral Home - Peñitas (1005 E Expressway 83, Penitas, TX 78576). A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sullivan City Cemetery (8039 US-83, Sullivan City, TX 78595).
