He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Alva Curtis Cotney, Jr. and Doneva Littau Cotney; his daughters, Kerri Hirst (Jason) of Yukon and Trista Segura (John) of Perryton, Texas; his brother Tom Cotney (Suzanne) of McKinney, Texas; his grandchildren, Taylor Hadlock, Liberty Hirst, Carol Lynn Segura, Joanna Segura, Elijah Segura and Phillip Gift; his niece Korrie Lawson; and his nephew Andrew Cotney. He was also cherished by three great-grandchildren.
