Evelyn M. Barnett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn M. Barnett of Perryton, Texas, who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn M. Barnett to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Samuel Yates and Jewell Ida Pitts Yates; her husband Bob Wayne Barnett, Sr.; her son Bobby Wayne Barnett, Jr.; and her brothers, Dale Yates, Don Yates, Lloyd Yates and Leland Yates.

She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Hutchison (Joe) of Pampa and Sandy Judice (Sammy) of Perryton, Texas; her grandchildren, Jennifer Herold (Scott), Stacy Johnson (Brad), Jodie Johnson (Dean), Julie Babbs (Kevin), Chester Hutchison (Rebecca), Cody Hutchison and Brent Judice (Kelly); her great grandchildren, Avery Hutchison, Ellie Hutchison, Harper Herold, Colbie Evelyn Herold, Connor Herold, Piper Johnson, Sam Johnson, Hayley Correll (Matt), Rio Judice, Yancey Judice, Kylie Johnson, Jared Johnson, Kearstin Babbs, Ella Babbs and Pake Babbs; and her great great grandchildren, Evelyn Correll, Yates Correll, Joseph Randolph Correll and Jacob Pike Correll.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home (310 S 32nd Ave, Perryton, TX 79070). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church (901 S Jefferson St, Perryton, TX 79070).

The family requests memorials be to the Waka Christian Center, the Ochiltree General Hospital Auxiliary, or one's favorite charity.
