He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Clair and Eulalia J. Brillhart Sr. (Bowen); his wife Lena Mae Wilson; his daughter Sheri Brillhart Walsh; and his sister Edna Venita Brillhart.

He is survived by : his daughter Debra (Jack King Jr.); his grandchildren, Katherine Clair Wells (Ryan), Jacquelyn Brillhart King, Sara Whitney Walsh, Nicholas Brillhart Walsh (Addie) and Emily Walsh Rohrs (Bryson); and his great grandchildren, Pheobe, Payton, Bryden, Harrison, Ryder, Prezlie and Poppy Mae Wells.

He was the Director of the Perryton Industrial Foundation, served on the Ochiltree Development Corporation, and was a past board member of the Chamber of Commerce.
