He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Clarence and Bessie J. Allison (Payne); his brothers, Robert Allison and Max Allison; and his half-sister Dora Jean.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Vernon (Billy) of Forney, Brandy Wood of McKinney, Texas and James Eldon Allison Jr. of The Colony, Texas; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Mitchell of Sanger, Emily Wood of Dallas, Sam Wood of McKinney and Brennan Vernon of Forney, Texas; and his brother Charlie Allison (Merry) of Longview, Texas.
