He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackline Phipps Overton and John Robert Overton; and his children, Glynn Overton and Sonya Karber. He is survived by: his wife Glynda of Perryton, Texas; his daughter Heather Overton of Stanton, Texas; and his brothers, Lyndon Overton of Follett, Neal Overton of Clairfield and Tony Overton of Corpus Christy, Texas. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
