She is survived by: her husband Sherman Wheless; and her children, Alexis Doffiri of Houston, Melissa Merrell of Borger, Rashel Carrico of Round Top, Laura of Carney's Point, Rhonda Phelan of Sugarland, Texas, Edgar Weakland of Williamstown, Rodney Kessel of Giddings and Mason Skidmore of Borger, Texas. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren.
