It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mitchell Gene Smith of Perryton, Texas, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Deane Smith and Julia Belle Kelley Smith. He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith; his children, Ty Smith of Perryton, Texas, Keyley Smith of Perryton, Merydeth McBride of Amarillo, Miranda Warner of Amarillo and Mallory Farais of San Antonio, Texas; and his siblings, Michael Smith of Ashland, Tony Smith of Norman, Oklahoma, Debbie Thomas of Arkansas and Lagina of Arkansas. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
