He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Edward Betsch, II and Eleanora Caroline Schafer Betsch; his son Jeremy Yancey; and his brothers, Eddie Betsch and Bill Betsch.
He is survived by: his sisters, Donna Betsch Davis of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Nancy Betsch of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; his sister-in-law Candace Rhodes; Alisa Dunagan of Perryton, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
