He is survived by: his wife Debra Shipp Perez; his daughters, Misty Powell (Travis) of Mansfield, Christy Shipp of Richardson and Jennifer Perez of Perryton, Texas; his siblings, Ignacio Perez of Perryton, Manuel Perez of Mexico and Gillermina Perez of Mexico; and his grandchildren, Keegan Powell, Malik Hayward and Ainsley Powell. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
