With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nicolas Casarez of Pettus, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 21, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Casarez and Gertrudiz Casarez; his siblings, Pedro Casarez, Manuel Casarez, Mariano Casarez, Concepcion Soliz (Tana), Jose Casarez, Jr., Eglentina Casarez, Maria Aguirre (Mana), Guadalupe Soto (Pita), Claudina Burks and Ladislada Garcia (Lala); his son Daniel Casarez; and his granddaughter Sally Saenz.
He is survived by: his wife Magdalena Casarez; his children, John Casarez (Delia), Manuel Casarez (Lupita), Yolanda Goynes (Michael), Sylvia Lugo, Rachel Casares (Pete), Casandra Casarez and Lisa Garcia (Jaime); and his brother Cleofas Casarez. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
