Ruth Ann Thompson King Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Thompson King (Petty, Texas), who passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Ruth Ann's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. She was predeceased by: her parents, Scott Thompson and Mayola Thompson; her husband Jack King; and her son-in-law Jerry Dewayne Clark. She is survived by: her daughter Emily Suzanne King Clark; and her granddaughter Codi Brooke Clark. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and several friends.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in her honor be made to either the Forest Hill United Methodist Church in care of Richard and Gina Gadberry or the Forest Hill Cemetery Association in care of Vickie Foster.
