He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane Martin and L. D. Thompson; and his sister Yvonne Swanson. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Thompson; and his children, Dixie Keir of Pflugerville, Bruce Lackey of New Braunfels, Douglas Lackey of Pflugerville and Michel Lackey of Gonzales. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
