It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie A. Hensley of Pflugerville, Texas, born in Marion, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Velmore Hensley; her son Roscoe Gene Hensley; her stepgranddaughters, Kristen and Bethany Ferguson; and her siblings, Fern Randall, Edith Little, Margaret Rushing, Gilbert, Lyman, Richard, Dale Hanks and Elsie Black.
She is survived by: her children, John (Amy Hensley) of Cuba and Connie (George Dickinson) of Pflugerville; her grandchildren, Josh Dickinson of Leander, TX, Brittany Hensley of Sullivan, Stephen (Kristen Dickinson) of Statesville, NC and Olivia Hensley of Cuba; her great grandchildren, Pierce, Chase, Knoxie, Jade, Zoey, Piper, Paisley, Braxton, Indie and Autumn; and her brother Ruel (Mary Hanks) of Pittsburg, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
