He is survived by: his wife Janice Marie Alex of Pflugerville, TX; his daughters, Alexis Denise Alex of Pflugerville, TX, Alisha Rochelle Alex of Pflugerville, TX and Deedra LaVonne Alex-Tate (Derrick Lamont Tate) of Red Oak, TX; his grandchildren, Jalyn Shatori Alex-Snearl, D'Vante Dwight Alex-Snearl, Amani LaVonne Alex-Hutchinson, Davian Loren Alex-Tate and Daylon Lamont Alex-Tate; his pet TJ Alex; and his siblings, Willie James Alex (Verna Jean Alex) of Fort Worth, TX, Jessie Earl Alex of Longview, TX, Peggy Ann Alex of Longview, TX, Brenda Sue Durham (Alex) of DeSoto, TX, Jacqueline Lavern (Alex) and Palmer of Longview, TX. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family is has established a memorial fund in honor of Duck.
