He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mae Neumeyer; his children, Brenda Kay Vrabel (Mark) and Marvin Wayne Richter (Pam); his brother Kenneth Richter (Barbara); his nephews, Karl Richter and Jonathan Richter (Bridgette); his niece Gretchen Norton (Kris); and his great-nephew Owen.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weed-Corley-Fish (2620 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (300 E Monroe St, Austin, TX 78704). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Memorial Oaks (13001 Katy Rd, Houston, TX 77024).
