He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lackey and Louise Lackey; and his sister Sandra Spindle. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his son Scott Lackey (Jill); and his granddaughter Charlotte. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
