She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Carr and Nettie Carr; her daughter Pam Lacouture (Walker Barnett); and her sisters, Mayrene and Maurine.
She is survived by: her children, Cindi Chatterton (Lee), Wes Suiter (Cheryl MD) and Denise Suiter (Mike); her stepdaughter Linda Hansen; and her grandchildren, Nicole, Martel, Ryan, Lauren, Trace, Misty, Jay and Jeff.
Working until she was forced to retire due to the federal government shut down because of the COVID epidemic at the age of 94.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Joye's memory to Austin Hospice.
