He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Gove (Dumke) and Richard Gove; his siblings, Ida Lemke, Mary Jane Melberg and Richard Gove; and his grandson Taylor B. Roy.
He is survived by: his wife Violet L. Gove; his children, Pat Gove (Beth) and Lori Roy (Brian); and his granddaughters, Meagan Miller Jordan (Patrick) and Madison Hemann (Ben Schumacher).
