He was predeceased by: his father Hugh Schubert; his brother Steve Schubert; his father-in-law George Archambeault; and his niece Sara Schubert. He is survived by: his wife Ann Schubert; his children, Joshua Schubert (Nicole), Zachary Schubert and Addison Schubert; his mother Virginia Schubert; and his siblings, Bubba Schubert (Leann), Susanne Carter (Scott), Kathy Wallace (Luke) and Audra Schubert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Billy Schubert HVAC Memorial Scholarship designation at Austin Community College. Donations can be given at http://austincc.edu.
