She is survived by: her husband Fernando Polanco; her children, Fernando Jr. Juan (Amelia), Mercedes (Sergio), Patricia (Elpidio), Valentina, Bernabe (Sandra), Ruby Belén (Rafael) and Nydia Guadalupe; and her siblings, Teresa, Martha Elena, Ana Bertha, Reyes, Gerardo and Jorge Garcia.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley (4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577). A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mother Cabrini Parish (8001 S Cage Blvd, Pharr, TX 78577).
