He was predeceased by: his parents, Soila L. Sloss and Manuel Sloss, Sr.; and his siblings, Armando Sloss, David Sloss, Elia Sloss and Aida Sloss Bravo.
He is survived by: his wife Ofelia Alanis Sloss; his sons, James Michael Sloss (Ruth) and Brian Matthew Sloss (Heather); his granddaughter Mikeala Ann; and his siblings, Romeo Sloss (Teresa), Yolanda Sloss Salinas (Jose Carlos), Diana Sloss, Criselda Sloss Borjas (Paulo Antonio) and Margot Iris Sloss.
