Maria leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Maria’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Maria will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juana Maria Gonzalez and Pablo Salce; her husband Santiago H. Ramirez (Santiago); and her daughter Zoila Martinez (Ramirez). She is survived by: her children, Linda Dolores Corpus (Jose Corpus), Bertha Ochoa (Osvaldo Ochoa Jr.), Jesus Jaime "Jesse" Ramirez (Jeanna Ramirez), Rosalinda "Rosie" Ramirez and Steven Randy Ramirez (Rikki Ramirez); and her aunt Elvira Gonzalez. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Aurora Funeral Home (706 W Sam Houston Blvd, Pharr, TX 78577). A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Margaret's Catholic Church (122 W Hawk Ave, Pharr, TX 78577). A burial will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at the Palm Valley Memorial Gardens (4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577).
