She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodolfo and Maria (Refugio Casares); her sister Velma Martinez; her former husband Loreto De León Jr.; and her close friend Johnny Morin.
She is survived by: her daughter Adrianna; her grandson Jaiden De León; and her siblings, Thelma Basaldua, Elva Ayala, Elma Vera, Rodolfo and Ricardo Casares. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 8:15 AM at the Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley (4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577). A rosary was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
