She was predeceased by: her parents, J. T. Edwards and Mildred Edwards (Cooper). She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Thompson (Sarah) of Pickton, Ronny Thompson (Tina) of Pickton and Elmer Thompson (Terry) of Springtown, Texas; her grandchildren, Shane Thompson, Tylar Thompson, Austin Thompson, Rudy Perez, Timmy Perez, Maxie Thompson, Cortney Adams, Brittany Thompson, Tiffany Thompson, Lilly Thompson and Billy Thompson, Jr.; and her brothers, Jesse Edwards, Robert Edwards and Phillip Edwards. She is also survived by twenty-five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Orwosky Funeral Home (876 Wildcat Way, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel (876 Wildcat Way, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Calendar Emblem Cemetery (1546 Houston St, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482).
