We announce the death of Faye Bernice Bailey in Pilot Point, Texas, who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 83. Faye will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Faye’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, H. H. "Bud" Mohon and Lucy Yarbrough (Coffey); her siblings, Dorothy Looper and Charles; and her sister-in-law Jo Ann Looper.
She is survived by: her husband Don Bailey of Aubrey, TX; her children, Brian Bailey (Kari) of Gunter, TX and Paige Flores (Lorenzo) of Aubrey, TX; and her grandchildren, Vincent Flores, Lauren Roberson, Bailey and Joey Bailey. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Slay Memorial Funeral Center (400 US-377, Aubrey, TX 76227). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the Belew Cemetery (9500 Belew Rd, Aubrey, TX 76227).
