She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton "Cotton" Herman Meinen and Dora Alice Phipps; her husband Gerald Wayne Brooks; her grandson Patrick Gerald Walker; and her siblings, Louie, Ray Meinen, Mary Ruth Landtrip and Laverne Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Bryan Brooks (June) of Pilot Point, TX, Rebecca Walker (Ben) of Frisco, TX and Deborah Moss (Steve) of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren, Charles Burton Massey (Kasey), Ellen Katherine Carlson (Ken), Cheyenne Preputnik (Aaron) of Ponder, TX and Sierra Hudson (Cole) of Aubrey, TX; her great grandchildren, Alexander Massey, Isabella Massey, Gabriel Carlson, Theodore Carlson, Faith Preputnik, Chloe Preputnik, Caden Hudson and Brooks Hudson; and her sister Betty Sue Martin of Pilot Point, TX..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (125 N Jefferson St, Pilot Point, TX 76258). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at the Pilot Point Community Cemetery (600 N Prairie St, Pilot Point, TX 76258).
