Margaret Geneva Schindler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2025, at the age of 98, Margaret Geneva Schindler in Pilot Point, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Simmel and Evie Simmel (Sparks); her husband Edgar Schindler; her children, Danny, David Schindler and Becky Pelzel; and her siblings, Albert, Wilbert, Sonny Simmel, Mary Neu and Frances Schroeder.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda (Richard Blumberg) of Pilot Point, TX and Debbie (Jim Brown) of Pilot Point, TX; her brother Bobby Simmel of Gainesville, TX; her daughter-in-law Sherry Schindler of Flower Mound, TX; her brother-in-law Charles Neu of Lindsay, TX; and her son-in-law Jerry Pelzel of Pilot Point, TX.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (400 St Thomas Aquinas Ave, Pilot Point, TX 76258). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Hill Cemetery (3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220).
