She was predeceased by: her parents, Yechi Yamagata and Tome Yamagata; her husband Thomas E. Tipton; her great grandchildren, Katie Doughty and Taylor Doughty; her siblings, Ichitaro, Heidao, Shigamitsu, Sachiko, Michiko, Fumiko and Kazuko; and her in-laws, Louise, Junior Wade, Bobbie, Red Wylie, Sam, Clara Tipton and Merwyn Tucker.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Doughty (Kenneth) of Valley View, TX, Thomas Tipton (Andra) of Fort Worth, TX, Calvin Tipton (Carol) of Denton, TX and Marilyn Pelzel (Wayne) of Pilot Point, TX; her siblings, Sumiko, Chiako, Mitsuichi and Tadashi of Japan; and her sister-in-law Polly Tucker of Sanger, TX. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
