He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scott and Mary Newman Scott (Hicks); his son Danny Scott; his great grandchild Alexa Clement; his son-in-law Mike McCord; his siblings-in-law, Tom Watson, Jacqualine Davis and Rose Cramer; and his sisters, Ora Lee Scott, Jessie Mae McGee, Essie Fay Scott, Reba Sue Scott and Alta Lou Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou of Pilot Point, TX; his daughters, Dawn Trammell (Tony) of Green Castle, IN, Laurie (Scott Clement) of Linden, TX, Denyse McCord of Pilot Point, TX and Dana Walker (Champ) of Pilot Point, TX; his grandchildren, Fawn, Christopher, Jonathan, Nathan of LaCole, A. J., Chelsea, Jesse, Tricia, Michael, Abby, Aspyn and Ryan; and his daughter-in-law Lacy Scott of Atoka. He is also survived by grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
