Guanda leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Guanda’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvis Hickman and Ira Sowell Hickman; and her brothers, Orlan and Hardy Hickman. She is survived by: her husband Ernest Joseph Istre of Pineland; her children, Jerry Crustner (Amanda) of Pineland and Angela Taylor (Jamie) of Silsbee; and her sisters, Oline Brashier of Jasper and Ardessa Swilley of Jennings, LA. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
