He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Cummings-Thomas and Early Reece Jr.; and his grandparents, Early Reece, Sr., Zettie Mae Hollins Reece, Katie Rene Johnson and Grady Cummings.
He is survived by: his children, Bradis Mathis and Quisha Simmons (Anthony) of Pittsburg, TX; his siblings, Charles Reece (Brenda) of Rowlett, TX, Schela Reece Triche (Craig) of Sachse, TX, Quincina Wilson of Dallas, TX, Lakecia Heggar (Rickey) of Rockwall, TX and Katherine Gladman of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Keondric Simmons, Ja'karee Simmons, Cambron Granville and Zia Mathis; and his great grandchildren, Kashton Simmons, Kameron Simmons, Kymbrie Granville, Cambron Granville, Camden Granville, Camelo Granville and Kamillia Granville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
