He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Millie Jean Rape Thurman of Pittsburg and Jack Loyd Thurman of Nevada, Texas.; his wife Donna Gaby Thurman; his daughters, Renee'Thurman Childers of Maple Valley, Washington. and Brenda Thurman Montalbano of Maple Valley, Washington.; his stepsons, Norman Barnhart (Julie), Dale Caston, Jesse Caston and Jason Caston (Stefanie); his siblings, Patricia Thurman Wood of Ft. Worth, Richard Thurman, Vici Houton (Jim) and Glen Thurman (Pam) of Mineola; and his close friends, Terry, Virginia and Linda. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
