She was predeceased by: her parents, Patricia DeWeese and Donald DeWeese; and her brothers, Rick Thayer and Douglas DeWeese. She is survived by: her husband Richard Dixon; her daughter Madeleine Chesney Dixon (Maddie); her niece Tara DeWeese; her sister-in-law Jennifer Thayer; her sibling's children, Nate and Alex; her mother-in-law Sheila Williams (James Williams); her sisters-in-law, Rachel Dixon-Hoffmann (Denny Hoffmann) and Elizabeth Dixon; her sibling's children, Randi and Rayona; her sister-in-law Robin Rice; her niece Megan Salmon; and also Amnah.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home (2805 S Jefferson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel (2805 S Jefferson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455).
