He is survived by: his children, Elton Carpenter, Jr. (Billie Jo) of Pittsburg, Russell Carpenter (Tiffany) of Pittsburg, Terri Antwine (Jeff) of Brookesmith and Amanda Dunklin (Stephen) of Brownsboro; his grandchildren, Carley Antwine, Clayton Antwine, Cooper Dunklin, Garrett Dunklin, Keagan Carpenter, Braxton Carpenter, Bixley Carpenter, Kipton Carpenter, Afton Carpenter, Gracelyn Carpenter, Makynlee Carpenter, Holden Carpenter, Hataleigh Carpenter and Corbin Carpenter; and his siblings, David Carpenter of Waxahachie and Donna Reeder of Dallas.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel (315 Rusk St, Pittsburg, TX 75686). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at the Rock Hill Cemetery (Mt Vernon, TX 75457).
