He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Hazel Shaddock McCurry; his wife Sandra McCurry; his daughter Julia McCurry; and his brother Donald McCurry (Mona Riley).

He is survived by: his son Corey McCurry of Grand Prairie; his stepson Clifford Kent Connor of Irving; and his nieces and nephews, Stacey Ruth, Stacy Hughes, Kelly Debuysere, Tammy Williams-Coy, Tasche Williams, Casey Riley, Patrick Riley, Paul Williams and Rick Williams.
