He is survived by: his wife Ruth Mitchell of Plainview; his children, Richard Mitchell of Henderson, TX, Jeanette Sylvia Mitchell of Yuma, AZ and Cynthia Mitchell Lopez (John Stephen Lopez); and his siblings, Samuel Mitchell of Mosquero, NM, Hilario Larry Mitchell of Bakersfield, CA, Ermelinda Hernandez of Hereford, TX, Pasquala Martinez of Espanola, NM, Maggie Eggert and Victoria Sandoval of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
