She was predeceased by: her parents, Arja Thomas (Tom) and Naomi Daisy Alcorn; her husband Loyd Dale Belk; her brother Donald Grant Alcorn (Donnie); and her sons-in-law, Dan E. Wilkins and Tracy Dee Hollars.

She is survived by: her children, Debbi Wilkins, Dana Bustos (Juan) of Plainview and David Belk (Karen) of Decatur; her grandchildren, Shonda Tomsu (Toby), Brandi Barnett (Jeff), Sonja Goodman (Braxton), Jacob Belk (Victoria), Jennifer Hollars and Trey Hollars; her sister Wanda Louise Mattheus of Lubbock; and her nieces, Vicky Roshto, Sherry Russell, Christy Perry, Lezlie Lust and Kristi Weathers. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and many other extended family.

The family suggests that memorials in memory of Bette be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Charity of Choice.
