Elvia Hernandez Obituary

We announce the death of Elvia Hernandez (Plainview, Texas), who passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 73. Elvia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Moises Lozano and Raquel Martinez Lozano; and her son Leobardo Hernandez (Lupita). She is survived by: her children, Oscar Hernandez (Juana), Victor Hernandez (Virginia), Joel Hernandez (Yesenia), Melinda Luna (Juan), Jose Guadalupe Hernandez (Elva), Aaron Hernandez and Abraham Hernandez; and her siblings, Manuela Lozano, San Juana Lozano, Martha Chairez, Gerado Lozano, Martin Lozano, Roberto Chairez and Roberto Chairez Jr.. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bartley Funeral Home (1200 S. Interstate 27 Business, Plainview, TX 79072). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Bartley Memorial Chapel.
