He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Joel Willis and Ruby Marie Willis; his siblings, Gary Willis, Carroll Willis and Judy Willis; his niece Michelle Willis; and his in-laws, Roy Daffern, Georgia Daffern and Blaine Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his children, Kathi Calvert and Chris Willis (Charla); his grandchildren, Hudson Calvert, Clara Willis, Georgia Calvert and Anna Willis; his brother David Willis (Marilyn); and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Willis, Linda Waggoner, Elaine Graves, Pat Smith and Pam Daffern.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kornerstone Funeral Directors (3605 SW 3rd, Plainview, TX 79072). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Plainview (205 W 8th St, Plainview, TX 79072).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, First Baptist Church of Plainview or Houston County SHARE.
