We announce the death of Harold Adolph Obenhaus (Plainview, Texas), who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Obenhaus and Adolph "Buddy" Obenhaus; his sisters, Evelyn Obemueller, Sylvia Abbot, Bernita Measles and Dolores Obemueller; and his grandson Landon Kyle Obenhaus.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Lea Obenhaus of Plainview; his children, Rhonda Bain (Ronnie) of Kress, Richard Obenhaus (Carrie) of Lubbock and Rodger Obenhaus (Rhonda) of Amarillo; and his grandson Damon Obenhaus (Amanda). He is also survived by ten Grandchildren, twenty-seven greatgrandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Kornerstone Funeral Directors (3605 SW 3rd, Plainview, TX 79072). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (1555 Co Rd 13, Tulia, TX 79088). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Harvest Christian Fellowship (4411 Olton Rd, Plainview, TX 79072).
