He was predeceased by: his parents, Teodoro Martinez and Luciana Martinez. He is survived by: his children, Jose Martinez of Tamaulipas, Carina Martinez of Tamaulipas and Claudia Martinez of Plainview; and his siblings, Felix Martinez of Mexico, Sevastiana Martinez of Mexico and Alicia Martinez of Plainview. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lemons Memorial Chapel (206 W 8th St, Plainview, TX 79072). A rosary will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (211 W 7th, Plainview, TX 79072).
