He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta Settle; and his sons, Timothy Joe Settle and Ricky Lee Settle. He is survived by: his son Danny Roy Settle; his grandchildren, Aaron Settle, Jayme Wetzel and Kristi Settle; and his siblings, Eula Austin and Jim Settle. He is also survived by seven other grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren; nineteen great-great grandchildren.
