It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Guzman Sr. of Plainview, Texas, who passed away on March 14, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jose may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jose touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Jose Angel Guzman; his son Jose Guzman Jr.; and his father-in-law Antonio Martinez. He is survived by: his mother Socorro Armendariz; his wife Sylvia Guzman of Plainview; and his children, Antonio Guzman (Danielle) of Lubbock, Angel J. Guzman (Sandi) of Plainview and Sonya Guzman (Abel Vasquez) of Plainview. He is also survived by four brothers, five sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
