He is survived by: his children, Joe (Melissa Mata), Maria (Roger Garcia) of Plainview, Francisca Mata of Plainview, Dora (Jerry Chapa) of Plainview, Irma Mata of Plainview, Teresa (Angel Saenz) of Plainview and Sonia Escareno of Plainview; Maria Lopez, Maria Balderas, Ashley Wall and Macy Buchanan. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren and fifty-one great grandchildren.
