He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Anderson and Linnie Louise Alexander (Carpenter); and his siblings, Sydney, Leo, Leonard, Glen Alexander, Margaret O'Bier and Norma Sue Taylor.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Alexander of Plainview; his daughters, Mary Perry of Plainview and Penny Davenport of Plainview; his grandchildren, Larry Ray Davenport, Nikki Davenport, Bryan Alexander and Shayla Perry; his great grandchildren, Jaidian, Zane, Klover, Callie, Kaitlyn, Abbi and Little Kidd; his great great grandchild Deklan Gray Vance; and his brother Edward Alexander of Plainview.
